Sciaky machines are often in service four or five decades after their initial manufacture. To be so, they have usually been rebuilt or re-equipped two or three times, during their life.

Why? Because the main parts of the machine – pressure head, frame, transformer – have to be at a standard which does not wear out, but the electronics in the control, and the pneumatic system become outdated, and wear out.

Today, many customers who own Sciaky machines choose to have them either factory rebuilt; or, an on site renovation of control and pneumatic systems.
