Machine Renovation.

Sciaky machines last and last.
It is not uncommon for a machine to go 30 years without a major intervention.
The frame, transformer and head do not wear out, it is usually the electronics or pneumatics that fail or become obsolete.
If a machine comes back to our factory it can be fully factory rebuilt.
It will be completely disassembled, and every part checked for wear.
The parts are individually cleaned down to bare metal, any machining or repair work is done.
It is repainted and rebuilt
All new motors, drives, controls and pneumatics are used when rebuilding, and we frequently add in features not available when the machine was originally made, such as:-
• part sensing,
• electro-pneumatic regulators controlled directly from the Sy-Sol
• Servo motor drives
• Current monitoring coils
• Air and water flow and pressure sensors.
• After thorough testing the machine is ready for another 10 – 20 or even 30 years service.

Sciaky sometimes have machines which can be factory rebuilt if you require additional capacity. Ask if one is available to suit your requirements.

On site, it is possible to incorporate a new control system, and new pneumatic system, including electro-pneumatic regulators. However, the machine cannot be stripped down, and repainted, nor can it have a load cell built into the head for force monitoring. Nonetheless, the machine will still have enhanced capacities and a new life of 10-15 years.
